Pakistan civil Aviation Authority announced job opportunities 2023 | Apply now

The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) is an independent public sector organisation that reports to the Aviation Division Cabinet Secretariat of the Federal Government of Pakistan. By virtue of Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority Ordinance 1982, CAA was founded on December 7th, 1982. A Civil Aviation Department (CAD) under the Ministry of Defence (MoD) oversaw operations relating to civil aviation before the CAA was established. Even after CAA was established on December 7, 1982, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) remained in charge. However, the Cabinet Secretariat was given this duty by the Pakistani government in June 2013.

The CAA was established with the intention of promoting civil aviation operations, regulating them, and creating a framework for Pakistan's civil air transport service that is reliable, cost-effective, appropriate, and well-coordinated.

The CAA is the country's aviation regulator in addition to being a service provider that offers airport and air navigation services. As a result, the CAA's three primary responsibilities are "Regulatory," "Air Navigation Services," and "Airport Services." These fundamental functions are fully supported by all of the organization's corporate activities. CAA's corporate office is located in Karachi.
