Eligibility criteria:

The following conditions must be met by candidates in order for their applications to be taken into consideration for the Qatar University Scholarships.

1. have fluency in English.
3. All nations that have international students are invited to apply.
4. To be eligible for both internal and external scholarships, applicants must meet the admission requirements and present an official high school transcript.
5. For consideration for H.H. the Emir of Qatar Scholarships for Academic Excellence, applicants must possess the Qatar Secondary Education Certificate and a grade point average of at least 95%. These scholarships are only awarded during the Autumn semester.
6. Candidates for the Outstanding Performance Scholarship need to be enrolled at Qatar University, have completed at least 30 QU courses, and have a 3.50 GPA. The cumulative GPA will be used to make the selection.

Documents other than those needed for admission are the only ones that applicants for this scholarship are asked to provide.

Application and evaluation procedure:

• During the designated application period, students use the online admission application ( at official website) to submit their applications for admission and scholarships.
• After the online scholarship application deadline, the candidates will be assessed.
• When necessary, the candidates will be contacted to request the paperwork needed to apply for the award.
• In accordance with the schedule provided, students will receive emails with the final acceptance and scholarship decisions.

Terms and conditions:

• The student must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 on a scale of 4.0.
• Each semester, the student must successfully complete a minimum of 12 hours.
• The student is required to complete their coursework within the timeframe given in their study plan.
• The student must continue to enrol every autumn and spring until they graduate.
• The academic regulations, norms, and procedures of Qatar University must be followed by scholarship winners.
• Must adhere to the general guidelines to keep the scholarship.

1. Through the Admission Application System, prospective students can submit a scholarship application.
2.   Those who register for a new user account will be given a login ID and PIN that they may use to connect into the system and submit their applications for admission and scholarships.
