The bottom house of Pakistan's bicameral parliament is known as the National Assembly .the Senate serving as the upper chamber. The National Assembly has a maximum membership of 342 as of 2023, of which 266 are directly elected by adult universal suffrage and a first-past-the-post system to represent their respective constituencies, while 70 are elected on reserved seats for women and religious minorities from across the nation and six on reserved seats for former Federally Administered Tribal Areas. Members of the National Assembly serve terms of five years or until the house is dissolved by the president. 

The national Assembly Secretariat invites applications from all over Pakistan For the following positions from the applicants fulfilling the below mentioned eligibility criteria, qualification and conditions.

Assistant director (Reporting English)	BPS-17	2nd class 16 years degree from Hec recognized university. Six months diploma in information technology ( IT) from recognized Institute. English shorthand typing speed 40/60 wpm.
Section officer	BPS-17	2nd class 16 years degree or 2nd class LLB from recognized university.
Assistant director ( Media)	BPS-17	2nd class 16 years degree in mass communication/ journalism/ media science/ IT from recognized university.
Assistant director (IR)	BPS-17	2nd class 16 years degree in international relations (IR) or equivalent from Hec recognized university.
Assistant director (parliamentary relationship)	BPS-17	2nd class 16 years degree in international relations (IR) or business administration or equivalent from recognized university.
Assistant director (Research)	BPS-17	2nd class 16 years degree or LLB from recognized university.
Translation officer	BPS-16	2nd class 16 years degree in English language/ literature/ translation studies from recognized university.
Assistant liberarian	BPS-16	2nd class 16 years degree in library science from recognized university.

How to apply:

1. Duly filled/ signed application form should reach the section officer (Establishment-1) National Assembly Secretariat , islamabad ,on or before 12/07/2023  through post. 
2. Original documents shall be produce at the time of interview whereas attested photographs, copies of degrees, certificates, transcripts, and CNIC must be attached with application form. 

General instructions:

• Candidates can only apply if they have a legitimate degree, diplomas, transcripts, and complete mark sheet from a Hec-recognized university. 
• Candidates who are currently employed by the government should apply through the authorised channels and present their NOC during the interview. 
• According to the applicable rule, a relaxation of the upper age restriction is acceptable. 
• The Secretariat has the authority to discontinue the hiring procedure in whole or in part at any time. 
• At the time of the interview, no TA or DA is permitted. 
• Candidates who previously applied for the positions advertised on December 20, 2022 may reapply by submitting a new application; however, candidates who were younger than the upper age limit on January 3, 2023—the previous application deadline—and who will be older on the closing date of the new advertisement (if applicable)—will be granted a relaxation.

• Incomplete application form or those recieved after due date will not be considered.
