Qualification:

Msc civil engineering from HEC recognized university

Experience:

Having specialised knowledge in contract management, and at least 25 years of experience in the hydropower and water resources sectors. 

Retired government and semi-government officers will be given preference. With appropriate experience, BPS -20. 

Note:

• The position will be filled on a contract basis for a period of one year, which may be extended if the employee performs satisfactorily and the organisation so requires. 
• A competitive market-based lump sum compensation pay plan will be presented, depending on the person's credentials or experience. 

Mandatory duties:

• To carry out cost/quality inquiry, contract compliance, risk assessment, and project evaluation. 
• To assess the state of the project and offer suggestions for improving performance based on the best engineering practises. 
• To conduct impartial, independent assessments of the project, including changes to the scope. 
• To offer suggestions for developing efficient project governance. 
• To assess the project for possible risk analysis and control in order to detect, mitigate, and eradicate risk. 
• To offer guidance on efficient contract administration and conflict resolution. 
• Additional obligations imposed by authorities

General conditions:

  

Only those who have been shortlisted will be contacted for an interview or exam. 

No TA or DA will be accepted. 

WAPDA is an employer that values diversity. 

Education degrees must be acknowledged by HEC. 

Candidates must bring original papers to the interview. 

The services provided in exchange for a lump sum payment will never be regularised.
