 The expense of the Punjab Cities programme, which is being carried out by the Punjab Municipal Development Fund firm, has been loaned to the government of Pakistan by the international development organisation.

In order to help the municipal committee technically, the programme establishes a head office and three regional offices in Gujranwala, Faisalabad, and Khanewal. The programme aims to improve the performance of participating urban local governments in urban administration and service delivery.
